The final push...
So the time has come to get this thing finished. I've been doing a lot of late nights and long weekends in the man cave. On the road by June!

Just some pics.......

I got the rest of the front nose finished up. So this is what they call the "glory phase" where you get to add all the shiney parts to the car. I am still waiting for a shipment of parts to come in from the States so the 7 Litre V8 has not come to life yet.
I couldn't resist doing a little mock up.
The rear coming together.
Rolling her out to get some Spring sunshine to help the paint fully cure.
2 stage liner going in. This will give me great heat, noise and vibration protection.
Most of the interior done. Not far from getting the carpet in.
Got this great mat for the front clip to stop me from damaging the paint.
I had to pull the rear axle to finish the brake lines and tidy it up
I sprayed all the interior panels in Satin Black.
The last of the panels in the booth. FINALLY
6x9" Morels mounted on the rear trap door.
Nervous Moment with the rivet gun

Final Assembly
Its been hectic since my last update. She is finally painted and final assembly has started. I didn't get as much as i wanted done on the car over the holidays but progress has been made.
Anyways, I spent a big chunk of time reclaiming my workshop. Its took 2-3 days alone to blow, hoover, clean everything. Then I spent another day cleaning the inside of my car. That fine dust gets everywhere and a lot of it will not blow off. I also got offered a 20ft container with shelving for free from an old school friend, I set it beside my workshop for extra storage space. It makes a huge difference and it means I now have less clutter in the shop. I also got in some extra tables to lay out parts.
So now that the colour sanding is finished assembly has started. I began my laying down the dynomat and insualtion kit. Surprisingly time consuming.
I have been busy doing all the standard small jobs in perparation of her coming back for assembly.
Then some paint
